Medical Cannabis In Illinois
The Illinois Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Act, allows patients who have a "Qualifying Medical Condition" to seek certification by a licensed physician with who is also treating them. Under Illinois Law, registered cannabis patients can legally use, possess, and purchase 2.5 ounces of medical cannabis from one of 60 state licensed dispensaries.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, our services are not covered by health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare at this time.If you would like to explore provider options that are covered by insurance, potential patients may call providers in their network to see if they provide a similar service. If this is not an option we are here to help! Payment will be collected to reserve your appointment and the balance will be due at the time of your visits. Your assigned Primary Care Physician will sign your "Physician's Written Certification Form" for the Illinois Department of Public Health should they believe, after a thorough review of medical records related to your qualifying condition that you are a good candidate for medical cannabis.
How long does it take?
In most cases patients filling out digital applications are able to shop the day after their appointment once they receive their temporary access card.
